Salzburg - Mönchsberg Photos
If you make it to Salzburg, I recommend walking across Mönchsberg (Monk's Mountain) from the Hohe Festung to the other end. The walk takes 2-3 hours, depending on your gait.
You'll see some unique, old buildings along the way.
Don't miss my other Salzburg Photos.
As well as some striking private residences. And don't forget the panorama views.
In the foreground is the new Museum der Moderne Salzburg (Salzburg Museum of the Modern). Personally, I think it looks out of place amongst the otherwise older architecture and natural beauty of Mönchsberg. I'm not sure what the tower structure behind the museum is.
4-star luxury hotel on Mönchsberg. I will try to find out the hotel's name.
Müllner Kirche (Church), built ca 1553. (Thanks Brigitte)

Hi Brigitte. Thanks for the kind words about my site. Salzburg is a beautiful city, and I look forward to visiting again this Summer so I can get some blue sky pictures.
Thanks for the information on the Müllner Kirche, too!
