Last Bangkok Photos
Well, folks, we've come to the end of the Bangkok pictures. I took most of these pictures on my last day in Bangkok. Paul and Virginia were on their way to Cambodia, and I had the day to myself again.

This statue was right out in front of the Royal Hotel, where we stayed.

I had some lunch outside on Khao San Road - I think this dish was Tom Yam Gai, but I know it was delicious.
If you like these photos, you can see all of my Thailand Pictures here.

Noodles, anyone?

This canal ran along one side of our hotel. I ate bugs outside close to the bridge in the background

I sampled a piece of squid jerky - dried salted squid. This was also sold in slick packaging at gas stations as snack food.

Seafood at one of the street vendor stands near our hotel.

One of the back alleyways near our hotel.

Which code does this wiring conform to?

This lady took a short break from her diswashing to give me a big smile.

This gentleman was really friendly. I stopped into his shop and bought a pair of shoes (which he customized for me). I spoke with him, his wife, and a couple of their friends who stopped by. Unfortunately, I lost the shoes somewhere before I left Bangkok.

In the background is the same statue that's in the first photo in this post. There were many, many people sleeping out in the open near our hotel.
