Have Camera, Will Snap
I finally got it. I gave in today and bought a Canon EOS 300D Digital SLR. I've been playing with it all evening, but the weather is too gross/grauslich to take it outside and get any pictures. It's snowed almost every day here for the last week and a half, and the forecast calls for more snow until at least Thursday.
Saturday should be sunny and warm, though, so I hope to get out and take some pictures this weekend. I'm planning to take a train to Tulln on Saturday with Skippy so we can check out the annual Outdoor / Sports conference there. I'll probably pick up some camping gear while we're there, and I'll certainly take some pictures along the way.
Until then, here's one I took of me while playing around with my new toy tonight:

mo: Here's the smile :-) Actually, I hear a lot of complaints that I don't smile often enough in my pictures. I'll try to do something about that. Cool that you got a camera as an unexpected non-christmas-present! I'm having fun with mine...
randee: Hey there! I wonder if it counts as self flattery when you compliment my eyes, since yours and mine look pretty similar and share a large part of their genetic lineage ;-)
